- Resumo:
- In this talk we describe several uniqueness and non-existence of minimal submanifolds in certain class of Riemannian manifolds. In fact, we will assume that the manifold admits a distinguished closed vector field whose covariant derivative is a semi-definite tensor field. We will show that several important families of Riemannian manifods lie in this class, for instance, the Cartan-Hadamard manifolds. Applications to Geometric Analysis are also providen.
