Novikov's Theorem Revisited

For 50 years, Novikov's Theorem has been an essential tool for the study of 3-dimensional foliated manifolds. The theorem was established by S. P. Novikov by using differential geometric methods and constructions valid for foliations of class C². The aim of this talk is to propose a quick and simple homological proof which is valid in class C⁰.
