Resumo:
Álvarez class is a cohomology class of degree 1 defined for a closed manifold M with a Riemannian foliation F whose nontriviality characterizes the minimality of F. We will explain about that every period of Álvarez class of (M, F) is an algebraic integer, if the structure Lie algebra of (M, F) is nilpotent.
