Differential geometer · Universidade de Santiago de Compostela

I am a differential geometer at the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, where I hold a Ramón y Cajal Fellowship. Before that I was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow (HOLYFLOW) at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, and before that a postdoctoral researcher at KU Leuven.

My research is in Riemannian geometry: homogeneous spaces, submanifold geometry, isometric actions, Einstein manifolds, and positive curvature. My PhD thesis, supervised by Prof. José Carlos Díaz-Ramos and Prof. Miguel Domínguez-Vázquez at Santiago de Compostela, studies symmetry in submanifolds.

I organise the Seminario Vidal Abascal at the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela.

The cohomogeneity one action of SO(n+1) on complex projective space: a lens-shaped manifold foliated by principal orbits between two singular orbits, mapping onto the interval from zero to one.

The cohomogeneity one action of SOn+1 on ℂPn: principal orbits T1ℝPn between the singular orbits Qn−1 and ℝPn, with orbit space [0,1].

Coxeter-plane projection of the E8 root system: 240 roots arranged in eight concentric circles of thirty.

The 240 roots of E8, projected onto the Coxeter plane.
